It’s Our River Day!
Celebrated on the third Saturday in
September, IORD is a celebration of Illinois Watershed through
education, recreation and conservation.
Communities and organizations are
invited to celebrate their river by offering citizens a chance to
experience, learn and contribute to the health of the watershed by
providing organized activities annually on the third Saturday in
September.
Last year’s events included river
clean ups, canoe/kayaking trips, educational booths at festivals,
fundraisers, recycling days, and much more. Help make this year bigger
and better by planning an event today. Please visit
www.CleanWaterIllinois.org
for more information.
