  • NGRREC Seminar Series

The National Great Rivers Research and Education Center invites fellow scientists and members of the general public to join us for our free seminars.

NGRREC℠ will occasionally host the seminars, featuring local and visiting scientists and researchers at the Jerry F. Costello Confluence Field Station.

“These NGRREC seminars are a critical addition to NGRREC’s calendar,” said Research Ecologist Anthony Dell, who hosts the series. “They will ensure our scientists are kept abreast of new and novel research being undertaken across the globe and should be critical in maintaining and forming new collaborations towards our goal of better understanding the socio-ecology of big rivers around the world. They also present a fantastic opportunity for the public to come to NGRREC and learn more about the natural world and the kinds of research we undertake here.”

    Upcoming Seminars

Dr. Whitney Anthonysamy, Assistant Professor of Biology at St. Louis College of Pharmacy, will present “Using Genetic Approaches to Inform Conservation Planning” at 3 p.m. Monday, June 20, in the Riverview Conference Room at NGRREC.
