Partners - The
McKnight Foundation
The NGRREC is
pleased to announce it recently received a $50,000 grant from the
McKnight Foundation. The funding will allow NGRREC to grow and expand
the Illinois RiverWatch Program by increasing training services,
expanding monitoring resources and developing a database for continued
collection and documentation of long-term trend data on stream
ecosystems.
NGRREC aligns with
the McKnight Foundation’s goal to safeguard water resources by
engaging and educating citizens in river advocacy and protection. We
are very proud to be affiliated with an organization that has made
tremendous investments in the protection of natural resources.
