Partners - Lt. Governor Pat Quinn
On May 11, 2006, the National Great
Rivers Research & Education Center accepted a $10,000 grant from Lt.
Governor Pat Quinn and the Illinois River Coordinating Council (IRCC)
to help with the 2006 monitoring season. This is the second year the
Lt. Governor and the IRCC have provided much-needed funding to help
sustain the RiverWatch program. We are very thankful for their
continued support of the program and commitment to keeping Illinois’
rivers and streams clean.
