Carlyle, IL - Carlyle Lake (Lower Basin)

The lower basin of Carlyle Lake receives water directly from the upper basin. The GREON buoy in the lower basin allows us to assess water quality before it is released into the lower Kaskaskia River. It can also be compared to data from the GREON in the upper reservoir to see how the two distinct halves of the reservoir work in tandem to impact water quality.
