Scope of Position:

This position will provide Conservation Program Research support for the honeysuckle project associated with treefrog, trail camera, and vegetation work. The Research Assistant will work on previously collected treefrog data, trail camera data, and other datasets from past internships and help publish results.

Key Measurable Expectations:

  • Process individual treefrog photos to detect individual recaptures from previously collected photos.
  • Work with past collected data sets from trail cameras, vegetation sampling, and avian point counts.
  • Work will require to use computer software and programs including Google photos, I32s pattern plus, R, Excel, ArcGIS and others.
  • Assist with data management and analysis, manuscript preparation, writing, and additional field work as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree
  • The ability to work unsupervised

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Data analysis capabilities
  • Publishing experience
  • Strong independent worker
